Alzheimer's Caregivers

The Alzheimer's Association Caregiver's Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton Hospital Campus, 135 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton.

The support group will be held the first Thursday of every month at the same time and location. It is free and no registration is necessary.

Melissa Maaser, RN, community liaison for behavioral health at BMHS, will facilitate the group. The intent will be to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. For more information, contact Maaser at 610-826-1294.
