Palmerton man faces DUI charges
A Palmerton man has been charged for driving under the influence in Summit Hill.
Borough police said that at 3:32 a.m. Oct. 30, 2015, officers saw a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of East White Bear and Laurel drives. Police stopped the vehicle and found Joshua Miccicke, 20, of 255 Avenue B, to be under the influence of alcohol.
He faces two counts of DUI, as well as one count of underage drinking, stop sign violation and minor prohibited to operate a vehicle while intoxicated.
