Mom, kids cited for curfew violations
A mother and her two children are in trouble after police found the children running around outside alone at 2:44 in the morning.
According to Summit Hill police, officers on patrol during the early morning hours of March 2 saw two small individuals in the 100 block of East Union Street, but when trying to make contact with them, the individuals ran.
They were later identified as a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl.
The parents of the children were located and the mother told police that the children were coming home from their grandfather's house, and she didn't see a problem with them being out that late.
The three were cited for curfew violations.
