Schuylkill crash investigated

State police at Frackville investigated a crash in Schuylkill County.

A crash occurred at 9:02 a.m. Friday along Route 924 (Gold Star Highway), in Gilberton.

Troopers said Jessica D. Lane, 26, of Frackville was driving a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound in the left lane when she lost control on a ice-covered road. The Jeep went onto the east berm and struck an embankment with the driver's side.

After impact the Jeep rolled onto its driver's side and came to rest. Lane was evaluated at the scene by Shenandoah ambulance personnel for a hand injury. She refused further medical treatment.

She was cited for the crash.
