McAdoo driver facing drunken driving count

James Walck, 40, of McAdoo, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in McAdoo on March 26.

A borough officer was on patrol at 11:40 p.m. when he saw a black Chevrolet pickup with license plate lights that were not functioning. The truck made an abrupt left turn, without a turn signal, into a driveway at the rear of 510 S. Kennedy Drive, actually sideswiping another vehicle parked there.

Walck was identified as the driver and admitted to drinking "about five beers." He was given, and failed, field sobriety tests.
