Theft at nursing home investigated
State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a reported theft incident at a Monroe County nursing home.
Troopers said a 75-year-old female resident of Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort, reported someone took $165 from her lock box in her room.
The theft occurred sometime between April 16 and 26.
