Plan makes no sense

I read the article on the Route 93 truck issue. Frankly the plan that is being discussed does not make sense. If 38 signs don't address the issue, why would 87? What is the magic number 76, 101? And imagine what that scenic road will look like with 87 signs on it.

So, other than banning traffic outright, I would suggest the creation of a commercial traffic lane for approximately a quarter of a mile, ending with an overhead and right side flashing red traffic light with a sign "All commercial vehicles must stop."

You limit the disturbance to a quarter of a mile and significantly enhance the visibility/call to action required for all commercial vehicles. The lights could be solar powered. Just my two cents.
