Drug overdose leads to charges in Tamaqua

Published May 14. 2016 09:01AM

A follow up investigation to a reported drug overdose in Tamaqua on April 30 has led to charges being filed against Anthony Edward Pascoe, 39, of 24 N. Greenwood St., Tamaqua.

A state parole agent visited Pascoe's home on the morning of May 2 after receiving a report about the April 30 overdose.

Pascoe is on parole and any contact with drugs would be a violation of that parole.

The agent found numerous drug related items in Pascoe's bedroom and contacted police. The items included five small, clear plastic bags containing a crystalline substance and two small empty baggies.

Pascoe has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
