Tamaqua man cited for harassment

Edward Sestakauskas, 68, of 541 E. Elm St., Tamaqua, was cited by Tamaqua police on May 17 after they received a complaint from a neighbor.

The neighbor came home from work at 4:45 p.m. to find a turkey claw placed on her gate. A neighbor said he saw Sestakauskas placing an item in that area of the fence about 15 minutes before the woman arrived home.

Sestakauskas denied putting the turkey leg on the fence and was advised to avoid his neighbor's property.

He didn't listen to the officer. Instead, at 5:15 p.m. the victim called police to report he was standing on her property, threatening her.

Sestakauskas was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.
