Shoplifting case is investigated

The theft of several cases of soda and diapers from the Giant supermarket off Route 443 in Mahoning Township is being investigated by township police.

Police said the incident happened at 3:25 p.m. July 30. The individuals involved in the retail theft incident left the scene in a minivan, police said.
