Mailbox damaged

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported to them at 10:06 p.m. Sunday.

The victim is a 20-year-old woman from Palmerton.

Police said someone damaged a mailbox located in the front yard of the residence on Snyder's Road and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
