4 caught shoplifting from Walmart

In the past week, Rush Township Police have caught four people shoplifting at the HT Commons Walmart on Claremont Avenue in Hometown.

Brittany Guris, 25, of New Philadelphia, allegedly took items valued at $54.24 at 8:30 p.m. July 2. She faces charges of retail theft.

Joleen M. Price, 19, of Mahanoy City, faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property after removing merchandise valued at $245.50 on Wednesday.

Steven Brilla, 21, of Pottsville, will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. He took items valued at $144 at 2:36 p.m. Thursday.

Also on Thursday, Bryan Polasik, 47, stole merchandise worth $9.46. The theft happened at 5:30 p.m. He will be charged with retail theft.
