Tamaqua man picked up on warrant

Tamaqua Police picked up Phillip Michael Ryan IV, 26, of 402 Hazle St., Tamaqua, on an outstanding warrant.

An officer on patrol saw Ryan walking on South Railroad Street at 11:30 p.m. on July 1. Aware of a recent warrant for the man's arrest, the officer detained him and ran a records check to make sure the warrant was active.

It was, earning Ryan a ride to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville. The warrant was issued by the Schuylkill County Adult Probation office.
