NJ couple fights, man is arrested

Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Florencio Rodriguez-Martinez, 39, of Paterson, New Jersey, on charges of simple assault and harassment after they were called to a domestic dispute at 11:02 p.m. Friday at 19 Stonegate Court in Mount Pocono.

Police said after they responded for a domestic dispute, a 41-year-old woman, also of Paterson, told them that Rodriguez-Martinez took her vehicle and was drunk. She said when he returned, they argued. She said she slapped him in the back of the head, after which time he punched her in the face.

He was located a short time later, arrested and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville pending his arraignment.
