Woman is charged after fender bender

Luz D. Cruz, 55, of Bartonsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police were summoned to a two-vehicle crash at 11:09 p.m. July 2 on Lake Road in Coolbaugh Township.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said when they arrived at the scene, they observed minor front-end damages to two vehicles that were involved in the crash.

They also determined that Cruz, the driver of one of the vehicles, was under the influence of alcohol.

She was arrested and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center.
