Two Carbon residents charged

Two Carbon County residents have been charged in connection with a retail theft incident in Luzerne County.

State police at Hazleton said Megan Rose Maguschak, 23, and Stephen Andrew Maguschak, 25, both of Beaver Meadows, have been charged in connection with an incident at Thomas Market, located at 1061 N. Church St., Hazle Township, that occurred about 12:16 p.m. on July 20.

Troopers said the two left the store with $55.93 worth of Lavazza coffee without paying for it.

A summary charge of retail theft was filed against Megan Maguschak and misdemeanor count against Stephen Maguschak.
