Coaldale woman facing charges
A Coaldale woman faces criminal charges after she left a bag containing drug paraphernalia at a resident on E. High Street in Coaldale.
Police were called to the home at 1 p.m. on July 27 after a 3-year-old child found the bag and began emptying it. The child's mother said the bag was left at the home by Amber Allen, 23, of 208 E. High St., who had been visiting. She thought Allen had gone to a home on Third Street.
Officers found Allen on Third Street. She admitted the bag was hers. She also said she knew there was drug paraphernalia inside but it wasn't hers. She was just holding it for someone else, whom she declined to name.
She was charged with reckless endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
