Theft of bicycle investigated

State police at Frackville is investigating the theft of a bicycle in the borough of Girardville.

Troopers said Christina Purcell, 31, reported her son's bike was removed from her front porch at 308 W. Main St. sometime between 1 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The bike is a red, 20-inch Mongoose stunt bike with custom wheels. The wheels are bright chrome wire spoke special wheels with yellow center hubs.
