Bucket books

The Bucket List Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua.

The topic for discussion will be the classic "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger. The story is narrated by its main character, Holden Caulfield, and deals with the topics of teen rebellion, identity issues and the connections we make with those around us.

The plot is as timely today as it when it was published in 1951. More than 65 million copies have been sold in that time.

The group is open to the public and those of all ages.
