Driver facing DUI after crash

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 1:04 a.m. on Aug. 15.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers responded to Scotch Pine Drive and Aspen Lane in Pocono Summit for a crash. The driver, Robert Stepanek II, 24, of 156 Paxinos Drive, Pocono Lake, was found to be intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests. He was transported to the county DUI center for a blood test.
