Carbon business cited by PLCB

A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Mico Enterprises Inc., located at 30 Fritz Valley Road, Mahoning Township, was cited on May 29 for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one minor, 19.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation.
