Multiple alarms result in charges

The owner of a property in Towamensing Township has been cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks because of multiple false alarms that were triggered at the residence during the past year.

Police did not reveal the name of the property owner but said the property is located at 1745 Hazlewood Road.

The citation, issued at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 7, states the defendant is in violation of "control of alarm devices and automatic dialing devices."
