Laptop, wallet stolen in Effort

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a theft incident reported in Monroe County.

A resident of the 900 block of Toll Road, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone stole a Hewitt Packard laptop computer and a wallet from his home. The incident was reported at 6:30 p.m. July 28.

Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident. A door lock on a residence on Brittany Drive, in Albrightsville, was damaged sometime between noon and 7 p.m. on Aug. 23. The residence is owned by Kate Machala, 37, of New York City, New York.
