MISS AMERICA COMPETITION kicks off in Atlantic City

During the first of three preliminary nights for the 2016 Miss America Competition in Boardwalk Hall, Miss Iowa, Taylor Wiebers, was named Tuesday night's preliminary Talent winner for her vocal performance of "Don't Forget Me" from the musical TV series "Smash." Also capturing the spotlight was Miss South Carolina, Daja Dial, who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner.

The national broadcast of the 95th anniversary of the "2016 Miss America Competition" will take place at 9 p.m. Sunday, live from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on ABC.
