Lansford man facing drug charges

Published September 19. 2015 09:00AM

A Lansford man faces charges after threatening his father with a knife in July, police say.

Paul C. Walck, 26, was charged with use or possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, according to a report released Monday by police.

According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by patrolman Richard J. Reis, he responded to a domestic incident at 3:45 p.m. July 17. A man said his son was out of control and threatening him with a knife. Police saw a very agitated Walck walking outside the house. He was ordered to the ground and handcuffed.

The father took police to Walck's bedroom, where they saw a homemade tin foil pipe used to smoke marijuana. Police also found in a drawer under the pipe a wooden box with six hypodermic needles, eight wax packets commonly used to package heroin, another homemade foil pipe and a large metal spoon with dried white residue.

The father did not want charges pressed from the domestic incident. No knife was recovered and the father had not been assaulted.
