Fight over money leads to arrest

A fight over money has led to the arrest of a Monroe County man.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 4:17 p.m. on Sept. 18 they responded to 1386 Pocono Boulevard in Mount Pocono for a report of a fight between two men. By the time officers arrived they had left the area.

Officers later received a call from a man who stated he had been assaulted by Hipolito Santos, 56, of Mount Pocono. Katra said the fight was over $60.

Santos was arrested and charged with simple assault and two summary offenses of harassment and disorderly conduct.
