License plate stolen from Chestnuthill lot

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a vehicle registration plate.

Troopers said the plate of the vehicle of Thomas Smith, 66, of Stroudsburg, was removed sometime between Sept. 25 and Wednesday while the vehicle was parked at Scott and Mark's Auto, located at 3238 Route 115, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The plate has registration VYJ-3334.
