Driver cited after Schuylkill crash

A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:32 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Greenview and Adamsdale roads in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brandon L. Short, 20, of Auburn, was driving a 2012 Nissan 370Z southbound on Greenview and approaching the four-way stop intersection when he failed to stop for a posted stop sign. As Short entered the intersection, his vehicle struck a 2006 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Jeremy K. Krammes, 38, of Schuylkill Haven. After impact the Nissan deflected off the Toyota and hit the Crossroads Inn sign located at the southeast corner of the intersection.

No one was injured. Troopers cited Short for a stop sign violation.
