Hit-and-run driver sought in Schuylkill

A hit-and-run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu was damaged while parked in the 200 block of Mahanoy Street in the village of Nuremberg, North Union Township. The passenger's side mirror sustained the damage. The incident was reported at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Troopers said a vehicle was driven northbound when it struck the parked vehicle with the driver then fleeing the scene. The hit-and-run vehicle should have damage to the passenger side, troopers said. The fleeing vehicle is believed to be a black pickup.
