'SCROOGE: THE MUSICAL'

The Pale Moon Players is holding auditions for “Scrooge: The Musical.” The production closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

Auditions will take place beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 6. at Grace Lutheran Church Auditorium, Fourth and Mahoning streets in Lehighton.

They are looking for a cast of approximately 30 men, women and children. Children must be at least 7 to audition.

Those auditioning should be ready to sing, as well as read (a cold reading).

Please bring a complete list of all date conflicts with you to the audition.

Cast members must be present for all tech week rehearsals and performances.

Performance dates are Dec. 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m.
