Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:10 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Highridge Park Road and Keystone Boulevard in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Bruce J. Moyer, 28, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 1996 Subaru Impreza westbound on Highridge Road and turned left to go onto Keystone Boulevard when he drove into the side of a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck driven eastbound by Paul Fetterolf, 59, of Ashland.

After impact the Silverado spun 180 degrees and slid southeast, where it struck and went atop a raised concrete traffic island.

Fetterolf had a neck injury and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street in Pottsville. Moyer sustained a cut to the head and was treated at the scene. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Moyer for the crash.
