Dog is taken in Schuylkill County
State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a report that a dog was taken from a residence in East Brunswick Township.
The incident happened at 5 p.m. Sept. 18 at 1227 Pine Creek Road in the township.
The victim is David Shevokis, 60, of New Ringgold.
Police said it was reported to them two females driving a silver-colored Eurostar minivan removed the victim's 12-1/2-year-old beagle-dachshund, named Crystal Rose, from his property. The dog is brown/reddish in color.
Police said the females told the victim's neighbor they were taking the dog to the SPCA because the dog was being neglected.
The females left the residence by traveling north on Pine Creek Road.
