MONROE farmers market goes pink

On Saturday, Monroe Farmers Market will go pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund, will be on hand in Courthouse Square in downtown Stroudsburg. This is a designated fund through the Pocono Health Foundation which was designed to benefit both male and female breast cancer patients of the Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center. Its purpose is to minimize the financial and emotional impact of breast cancer diagnoses and treatment.

Hope for Strength will offer several raffle prizes. Proceeds will go entirely to the fund to assist local breast cancer patients with living expenses while in treatment.
