Deer, Jeep collide in Schuylkill

A deer and a Jeep collided in Schuylkill County on Thursday about 7:45 p.m.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Devin R. Selinko, 23, of Pottsville, was driving a 1996 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Route 183 in Wayne Township when a deer entered the road in front of him. Selinko was unable to avoid hitting the animal. The front bumper/grille area hit the deer.

Neither Selinko nor passengers Colleen Selinko, 44, and Gunner G. Selinko, 1, were injured.
