Carbon man facing harassment count

A Carbon County man has been charged with harassment following an incident at a county development with a security guard.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers were dispatched to the area of 86 Lindbergh Circle, in the Towamensing Trails development in Penn Forest Township at 3:07 a.m. Sunday. Troopers said the report indicated a security guard for the development had been punched in the face while investigating a parking complaint.

On scene troopers said Adam Middleton, 27, of Nesquehoning, said Damir Chiaramonte, 26, of Albrightsville, had struck him during a confrontation with multiple individuals who parked their vehicles in a restricted area. The citation has been filed.
