Book signing in Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe author Jeff Davis, writing as J.L. Davis, will be signing copies of his latest novel, “The 7th Jackal,” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Soundcheck Records, located at 23 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

Like his last novel, “CRUDE,” Davis’ latest thriller is set in his hometown of Jim Thorpe, and includes plenty of activity taking place at the local record store.

“I think using real places gives the reader a sense of authenticity,” says Davis. “There’s been quite a bit of unusual activity in Soundcheck Records on Broadway in both ‘CRUDE’ and ‘The 7th Jackal.’ Trust me,” he adds, “I’m not done with that place yet.”
