Slatington police report

David Galbaith, 55, of Slatington was charged on Oct. 10. with disorderly conduct and violation of the borough's open burning ordinance. Jolene Mehltretter, 37, of Slatington was also charged during the open burning incident with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct by officer Dominic Romagnoli at 7:15 p.m. on Main Street.

On Oct. 14, Jill Jendrzejewski, 21, of Albrightsville was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop on Main Street at 9:46 p.m., by patrolman William Borst.

On Oct. 15, Aaron Kirtz, 19, of Slatington, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

According to Borst a suspicious unoccupied vehicle was parked in the darkened rear lot on North Seventh Street. At 10:46 p.m., two people were found walking nearby. Kirtz was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
