Police: Summit Hill man threatened officer's life
A Summit Hill man has been charged after he threatened the life of a police officer.
According to Summit Hill police, on Nov. 7, officers responded to 141 E. Mountain Top Road for a man threatening to harm a police officer.
When police arrived on scene, they attempted to speak with the man, identified as Jason Gagliardo, 47, who lives at that residence. He began to fight with police.
He was taken into custody and has been charged with aggravated assault, two counts of terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment and persistent disorderly conduct.
He was taken to Carbon County Correctional Facility.
