Thefts and mischief incidents investigated

State police at Lehighton reported investigating thefts and a criminal mischief incident.

Troopers said a 35-year-old man from the 200 block of Eldo Lake Drive in Kunkletown, Monroe County, reported his vehicle was entered while parked at his residence. An iPhone 4S and various amounts of U.S. currency were removed. The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Nov. 23 and 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 24.

In another incident along Eldo Lake Drive, a 46-year-old woman reported someone removed a hunting knife and two packs of cigarettes from her unlocked vehicle while parked at her residence. The incident occurred sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. on Nov. 23.

A 70-year-old man who lives on Long Fence Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone removed the registration plate from his vehicle. The plate number is PZY211B. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 23 at 9 p.m. and Nov. 24 at 7:30 a.m.

The mischief incident occurred at Cramer's Hardware, located at 131 Scenic Drive in Polk Township. Unknown criminals damaged numerous exterior doors on the property. The incident occurred sometime overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
