Police investigating burglary, theft incidents

State police at Frackville reported investigating a burglary and two theft incidents at Schuylkill County locations.

The break-in occurred at property owned by Stephen Bushinski, 58, and located at 239 Green Mountain Road, in East Union Township.

Troopers said someone broke into the home and removed a Desa International propane fireplace with a brown wood mantel and a ceramic log insert. The entry occurred sometime between Nov. 1 and 27.

A theft was reported at Koch's Lawn and Garden Inc., located at 1044 Summer Valley Road, in East Brunswick Township.

Troopers said criminals entered the property and removed a hydraulic pump, lift cylinder and headlights from an 8-foot Western Poly Pro snowplow that was in the driveway. The theft occurred sometime between 7:45 p.m. Friday and 7:45 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said a 2002 Ducati 748 sport motorcycle was stolen at the intersection of Breezy Acres Drive and Summery Valley Road, in East Brunswick Township.

The bike was parked at that location when taken sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. on Sunday. The bike has state registration plate K6400 and is red. The bike is owned by a 41-year-old man from East Brunswick Township, troopers said.
