DON'T CHOP DOWN TREES

To the Editor,

The Lansford Pool and Recreation area is a beautiful tree-lined park. Why would you ever consider chopping down trees when trimming is adequate for the power lines, or at least it has been for 50 years or more.

The people of Lansford obviously love the park area because they wouldn’t give it up to the highest bidder. Don’t ruin it!
