Schuylkill man facing theft count
A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of theft.
State police at Frackville said a 49-year-old woman, who lives along Gameland Drive, in Walker Township, near Tamaqua, reported on Aug. 26, 2014, money had been taken from her residence.
During the course of an investigation, Christopher James Sanders, 26, of Walker Township, was identified as a suspect.
A further investigation indicated that Sanders had stolen the money.
He was charged with theft and related offenses.
He was arrested on Thursday and arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier of Orwigsburg and released on bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 1.
