Driver cited after Monroe crash

The driver involved in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday along Sugar Hollow Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, has been cited.

State police at Fern Ridge said Heather N. Grove, 30, of Effort, was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer when it went off the right side of the road and crashed. Grove sustained a moderate injury and was treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Troopers said Grove was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
