Copper stolen in Polk Township

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary that happened in Polk Township between Nov. 25 and Dec. 16.

The crime was committed at 126 Old Stage Coach Road at a home owned by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

According to police, someone entered the house through an opened door and took numerous copper pipes and the bathroom sink faucet.

Anyone having information about the burglary is asked to call police at 610-681-1850.
