Lehighton woman is facing DUI charges

Upper Macungie Township police have arrested Erika Moyer, 47, of Lehighton, for suspicion of driving under the influence after an incident at 10:03 p.m. Dec. 5 on Route 100.

Police said they observed a vehicle operated by Moyer traveling northbound into oncoming traffic in the southbound lane. After she was stopped, Moyer displayed numerous signs of impairment and was arrested.

Police said the charges will be filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Michael Faulkner after the results of blood tests administered to the woman are received.
