Christmas Crèche Open House in Summit Hill
The Summit Hill Historical Society invites the public to a "Christmas Crèche Open House" from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event includes six churches in the borough.
• St. Joseph Catholic Church, 462 W. Ludlow St., will have 100 crèches on display from 2 to 5 p.m.
• St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., will feature Chrismons and Nativities. There will also be an organ and flute performance from 4 to 5 p.m.
• Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, 44 W. White St., will feature a Christmas choir at 2 p.m.
• Methodist Church, 101 E. White St., will offer traditional Christmas décor from 2 to 5 p.m.
• Church on the Rock, at the Summit Hill Heritage Center, corner of Chestnut and Hazard streets, will feature a live Nativity.
• Summit Hill Heritage Center will display the 1930 crèche from the former U.C.C. Church and photo.
Refreshments will be served at the museum, 146 E. Ludlow St. in Summit Hill from 2 to 5 p.m.
