Joyride with bulldozer ends in damage

State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between noon and 10 a.m. Thursday in Mahanoy Township.

The victim is a 50-year-old Hazle Township man.

He told police someone took a Case 4500 bulldozer for a joy ride on the mountain near the Hazle Township water tower, cutting several trails and slightly damaging the bulldozer.

The incident happened about one-quarter mile north of the Village of Park Place in the township.
