The engagement of Nicole Smith of Alburtis to Jon Yenser, also of Alburtis, has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Nancy Smith of Lehighton.
She is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She received her doctorate of physical therapy from Misericordia University. In 2014, she became a neurologic certified specialist.
She is currently employed at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Allentown.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Jane Yenser of Lehighton.
He is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.
He is currently employed at One Command as a client relations manager.
The couple are planning a wedding for this summer.
