Selling painting should be decision of members

Dear Editor,

Recently there has been talk about the Lehighton Legion selling the Mr. (Franz) Kline painting.

As a dues-paying legionnaire since 1978, I have never been asked what I think. Something of this importance should be brought to a special vote by all members.

Some questions I have are:

Who will audit moneys like an outside auditor?

Will the bid process include special help for vets?

Let's lay all the cards on table and see what happens.
