Luzerne man facing charges

A Luzerne County man is facing charges for incidents in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday for a man called "Lionel," who was reportedly trying to enter a home along Beaver Dam Road in the Emerald Lakes development in Long Pond. En route, police received a second dispatch that the man was now attempting to enter a second residence.

On scene officers located the man trying to enter a third residence. He was identified as Eric Lionel Hamilton, 23, of 98 Green St. in Edwardsville. He was taken into custody without incident.

Hamilton was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, criminal attempt-criminal trespass, both felonies; loitering and prowling at night, and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
